Put together for a good friend of mine who is launching a daily deal website for automotive services in Southern California. Pretty cool!
Logo design wasn’t mine, just the flyer
Here’s another design project that I did for the Sprinkler Repair Service in Orange County. A big part of their marketing is the good old fashioned on-foot door to door flyering. While many companies will drop in a rubber-banded (annoying) or photocopied flyer, these guys wanted something better. We worked together to design something with a clean and fresh feel that would match their website and feel trustworthy to consumers.

Designed for Dr. Jason Koh – for a fresh/young feel in sports medicine
One of my designs was featured on Got Print’s blog – if you haven’t used Got Print, check them out. There’s no place I’ve found that can print for better prices.

I was able to swing by Rally Innovations yesterday to catch up with some old friends and got a sneak peek at their new Evo Soul catalog that I designed a while back. Came out looking pretty snazzy in print!
Rally innovations produces aftermarket parts for Subarus, Mitsubishis (only the good ones) and the Nissan GT-R.
Decided to pull another run of these guys, got too many requests to deny it! email me if you want one
In any form of motorsport, finding sponsors isn’t exactly easy. Having a quick media package on yourself to hand out can make life easier. I did this 3-pager for Formula Drift / Megan Racing driver Cyrus Martinez, who needed something that would be a quick professional read for sponsors to hand out at SEMA, but not so lengthy that it felt impersonal.
Using a short intro proposal like this is a smart move to get your foot in the door when starting relationships with companies. Keep in mind, a full-length (media and number heavy) proposal should always accompany a specific proposal.

“The biz card you made me just won me free flamebroiler.
I dropped the card in & the girl liked the design and said it’d be easy to pick out next time she did the drawing. I guess good design = free food”

Article from the owner of the company I work for, STILLEN, in this month’s Road and Track about the Ferrari 458 Italia GT Cars.
These business cards were designed to help my friends from home-pro realty class up their business business card game.
Latest project that was referred to me from a friend of a friend for a quick logo design. Type up top is a pentool freehand creation, and down below is helvetica condensed 47. This would look pretty mean on the side of the supra it’s going on, eh?
Latest in logo goods. For a Dirt Abatement company – You spray this stuff on dirt and it keeps dust down. Pretty cool!
Designed for local mechanic Andrew Ferguson down at Honeymoon Garage. He just opened up shop and he’s been a hell of a guy to me when it comes to getting a car in working order for an honest wage.

This product is actually pretty darn cool. It was developed by Sam down at Platinum Strands for folks that enjoy a good campfire, firefighters, and pretty much anybody that loves being around a flame but doesn’t want their hair to smell like it for the next week. It’s designed to wash the smokey smell out of your hair.. pretty cool! Can’t wait to give it a try.
Here’s part of the final logos I put together:

he ended up going with the one on the top left.
Decided to play a little more with this one in Photoshop so I could export a revisited version that’s more in line with what the FJ is all about

Designed for Charles over at Precision Autoworks. A dang sweet lookin S2000 widebody kit. I wish I had more pictures of Charles’ S2000 to share, it sports a wicked supercharger setup tuned by Bisimoto.
Submitted this logo earlier this week for the new logo for the FJ Cruiser AllCal event coming up

Letterhead, line card, and envelopes for the guys over at www.twchem.com who I finished the website for not too long ago. They wanted to stick to a strong and patriotic feel for their design.

not surprisingly when i cracked all these together it didn’t make a pretty color
Placeholder and logo designed for Kris at KstudioLA:
Got to do some driving last weekend with International Allstars at the home of my favorite team: Angels Stadium. Event was great, cars ran great (thanks to Pat and Eric) and the guys from Mexico were super nice. Unfortunately we didn’t have a lot of space to work with, but it didn’t stop us from burning through the awesome tires that Bridgestone provided for the team.
My ride for the weekend was the yellow-nosed car #2– a carbon fiber laden cosworth-powered supermiata. It was the first weekend out on Eibach’s new coilover setup which felt like a great street/track setup. On this unit the rears weren’t adjustable, but the valving that Eibach set up was a bit on the softer side, which felt great at higher speeds but was a little hard to transition at lower speeds. It’s not much of a price to pay for a coilover that would also work well for a daily driver. I’m betting Eibach has another setup coming the way of the MX-5 for the more hardcore enthusiasts.
As video and pictures come, I’ll update the posts, but here’s a promo video from Lexani that has a little action towards the end:
Here’s one of the latest projects I’ve been playing with. It’s a proposal to Lexus for a project car I’ve been working on for drifting.
The big idea behind it is to create an iconic car for Lexus’ in house tuning parts company: F Sport. So, when people see the car they don’t think “that’s a sweet car,” but rather “that’s the F-Sport car.”
Between graphics, media (print & online), and promotional events we should be able to turn this car from just an IS350 into “The Icon.”
I wish I could post all of the pages, but I’ve had trouble with other teams plagiarizing my proposals before, so here’s a few of the more design-centric pages:
(11×8.5 – center bound)
The logo has some meaning of its own behind it. The F Sport icon (created by Lexus) is modeled after the first corner at Suzuka raceway, where the first F-Sport car (the IS-F) was developed.
When I started on my Icon logo, I was considering where this car would be tracked most; Willow Springs Raceway. WSIR has quite a few tracks, but one of the fastest and most popular is the track nicknamed “Big Willow,” which is known to racers as “The Fastest Road in the West.” And it is fast. I took a look at the track and decided to design the “n” in Icon after turns 3-5 on the Big Willow course:
Which ended up coming out like this for print:
A couple weeks back I had a great time out at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at Redline Time Attack (blog post here). They recently added a new facet to their events called Redline Showcase–a full-featured car show. Here’s the flyer designs and website (that’ll be up within the next few days) that I was contracted to put together…

website will be up live at: www.redlineshowcase.com
